Important
Walking safely
During our walking events, we aim to create the safest possible conditions for both walkers and other road users. That’s why it’s important to follow the general traffic rules and maintain consistent walking behavior. We ask that you walk on the right side of the path as much as possible. This helps prevent confusion on routes that are not fully closed to pedestrians.
Dogs on the route
Attention! Dogs are only allowed on a leash during the Utrecht City Walk. Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted on the 25 km route at Landgoed Duinlust and in the Middenduin nature reserve. Please follow the detour via Duinlustweg and Brouwerskolkpark (where dogs may be off-leash) to Tetterodeweg, and then rejoin the main route there.
Wandelsportfoto
The Utrecht City Walk partners with Wandelsportfoto. They’ll be ready to capture you in the last kilometer before the finish. After the event, we’ll share the website where you can purchase your photo in our newsletter.
